On May 26th, Derek, Sara, Jenny, and I will head to Iquitos for four weeks of working with the impoverished community of Belen. We'll be conducting household surveys, establishing new partnerships, performing "charlas" (health fairs), and testing samples to determine water quality and parasite prevalence.

Currently we are coordinating our resources and doing our pre-trip homework, but we'll soon be ready for our Amazonian adventure! Please stay tuned!
