Kimberly Faldetta
Sherborn, MA
Kim studied Environment: Ecological Determinants of Health at McGill University in Montreal, which focused on public health and the interface between humans and the environment. After graduating, she traveled to Iquitos, Peru to work on a research project involving malaria in pregnancy. She spent a year in Iquitos and is now ready to return for a second stint! She just finished her first year at Penn State College of Medicine and wants to go into Infectious Diseases, specializing in Parasitology and parasite eradication efforts worldwide.

Katie Dickinson
Portola Valley, CA
Before attending Penn State School of Medicine and joining the Iquitos team, Katie studied at the School of Nursing and Health Studies at Georgetown University. Her major, Human Science, had a large focus on public health which she specified to focus on international health efforts. While in Washington DC, Katie worked for PATH, an international nonprofit that creates sustainable, culturally relevant solutions that enable communities worldwide to break cycles of poor health. Not only does she hope to apply her gained knowledge to this project, but also her years of Spanish language study!

Chloe Wang
Albuquerque, NM
Chloe spent most of her childhood growing up in Albuquerque, NM. Last May, she graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Biology. Finally, she made my way up the east coast to Hershey, PA where she currently a first year medical student at Penn State College of Medicine.
